At spaced increments a male voice recites a list of impossible chords. This initial list is followed by a list of impossible chords recited by several other vocalists. This new poly-vocal list is followed by a list or sequence of sung notes which appear at first as isolated moments and then later become combined to form dissonant chords. On the wall a line of text from the audio is translated into a series of dots. Consonants are represented by the color black. The vowel "a" is represented by the color red. The vowel "e" is represented by the color yellow. The vowel "o" is represented by the color blue.
